Workshop for GIFTED Center and Lithuanian teachers “Education of Gifted Children: The Israeli Experience”

In November, partners from Israel visited the GIFTED Center for Gifted Children of the Vytautas Magnus University (VMU) Academy of Education. Roza Leikin, Professor of Mathematics and Gifted Children Education at the Faculty of Education of the University of Haifa, Israel; Daphna Haran, Vice President of The Leo Baeck Center for Gifted and Talented Students, Director of the Gifted and Talented Students Program, Advisor to the Gifted Students Education Department of the Ministry of Education; and Dr. Inbal Shany, Educational Consultant and Staff Development Expert, led a workshop “Gifted Children Education: The Israeli Experience” for general education teachers interested in the education of gifted (high learning potential) children.
