Gifted children also suffer: statistics are ruthless, some facts do not surprise scientists
The Dean of the Faculty of Education of the University of Haifa, Israel, and Professor of Mathematics and Gifted Children, Dr. Roza Leikin, who visited Lithuania at the invitation of the “Gifted” program and held trainings “Trends in the Education of Gifted Students” at the VMU Academy of Education, believes that the task of every teacher is to work in a way that is interesting for both the whole class and each student individually. He must be able to organize work in a regular classroom, where a gifted child also studies, so that all children work motivatedly and no one feels either more valuable or less than the others.
