Psychologist A. Blandė about preparing for first grade: homework for children and parents

On Thursday, March 3, at 6:30 p.m., the VMU Academy of Education International Program “Gifted” is organizing a virtual lecture by personality development psychologist Asta Blandė “Preparing for first grade: homework for children and parents”.

The lecture is free.

Personality development psychologist Asta Blandė is a mother of two children, a lecturer of various practical trainings and the author of books for parents and educators, who seeks to motivate herself and her listeners for changes with the knowledge of psychology.

As spring approaches, changes are noticeable not only in nature, but also in the lives of children. Especially those who plan to open the doors of school in September and get acquainted with a slightly different routine than before. During the changes, it is natural that various questions arise about the criteria for choosing a school, communication guidelines with a child, various aspects of adaptation and other moments that are worth carefully monitoring.

This meeting is an opportunity for everyone to share questions and get answers, and to plan steps that will help both the child and the family more confidently integrate into the school community.
