Psychologists’ help platform

Students of the “Gifted” program and their families are given the opportunity to use the psychological support platform. This is a very important part of the “Gifted” program.

As you know, gifted children are often characterized by increased sensitivity, which can manifest itself in increased mobility, they can quickly get tired of noise or bright light in the classroom. These children react strongly emotionally to situations: they are deeply sad and very happy not only for themselves, but also for others. Because of this, we often notice that gifted children are worried about injustices or global problems in the world. They are also prone to perfectionism and can deeply grieve over their mistakes. Therefore, adults must take care of children’s emotional health – teach them to understand their emotions, teach them to express them appropriately. Therefore, competent psychologists working in the program work in parallel with module teachers. Help is provided to children who want to know themselves better, parents who have various questions, and teachers who work with gifted children. Psychologists conduct classes in children’s groups, invite families of gifted children to meetings once a month, and provide individual consultations to families and teachers.
