Teacher G.Akucevičienė shared her experience at the republican conference

Today, on March 23, a scientific-practical republican conference “Primary Education in the 21st Century: From Theoretical Assumptions to Good Practice” was held in Vilnius, organized by scientists from the Vytautas Magnus University Academy of Education, during which the content of research-based primary education in the context of various subjects was discussed. Much attention was paid to competency-based learning in primary grades.

Gintarė Akucevičienė, a teacher at the VMU ŠA Gifted Children Education Center in Vilnius, presented the challenges that arise when working with gifted children and the opportunities that open up. The teacher talked about identifying gifted children, about methods suitable for working with gifted students, and answered questions from the audience.
